		<description>If NZ follows along US lines where more communities have a bodycorp there may not be the scope to have outside clotheslines or gardens.  The reason that dryer use is so prevalent in the US is that it is against your bodycorp to hang washing outside.

I discussed this recently with someone who had been restricted to a dryer in both Arizona and Texas.  And in both places the temperatures are high enough that clothes dry very quickly outside.

If you decide to get serious about your Surburban Archeology, I sit next to a couple of stacks of books devoted to building and housing in NZ :-)</description>
